TESTIMONIES OF ALUMNI AND STUDENTS OF DOCTORATE STUDY PROGRAM OF ECONOMICS FEB UNAIR
Name | Current Position | Statement |
---|---|---|
Thinzar Win | Lecturer at Department of Economics, Mandalay University Myanmar | I am very proud to be an alumni of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Airlangga University (Unair), Surabaya, Indonesia. I spent three years of my student life as a doctoral student in Economics at FEB, Unair. I can learn a lot from this doctoral program. All the lecturers and professors are really impressive in teaching and sharing knowledge. After completing the doctoral program, I can apply academic and research methods in my career. Even though I'm a scholarship recipient at FEB Unair, I don't feel like I'm studying abroad. All faculty members including administrative staff took me in all aspects. Until now, I have been able to collaborate with FEB Unair by conducting research, attending seminars and conferences. |
Silviana Taniu | Lecturer at the Department of Economics, University of Gorontalo | It is very important for students to master research methodology topics, both theory and practice. However, as a student from a remote area in Indonesia, previously I felt left behind in this regard. This is due to our limited access in the regions to get the latest information and to participate in trainings organized by educational and non-educational institutions. I am very grateful for the opportunity from the Department of Economics to be involved in field research with Lecturers. This gave me a lot of experience in how to design research from planning to publishing. Interesting discussions with respondents, presentation of data and reports with the team and supervisors added to my valuable experience, which I will share later. |
